Dr. Gabrielle Bruce
Director of Education
Dr. Gabrielle Bruce is a dedicated educator with over 17 years of teaching experience. She is committed to supporting learners of all ages and abilities in their educational and personal journeys. Dr. Bruce believes that individualized instruction and solid pedagogy are the foundation for successful teaching and learning.
Dr. Bruce is committed to helping her student athletes successfully fulfill both pursuits and take the necessary steps towards future goals.
She holds Missouri lifetime teaching certifications at the early childhood level, middle school level, and high school level. Gabrielle earned her Ph.D. in Educational Foundations from St. Louis University in 2013, and since then has been teaching at Western Governors University, University of Missouri- St. Louis, and Lindenwood University. She brings a wide range of applicable experience to the classroom and is excited to accompany our learners on their journey.
Tommy Bruce
Sr. Educator
Tommy brings 15 years of public school teaching experience to Prospects Academy. He taught English Language Arts at the middle and high school levels for the first 10 years of his career, while enjoying the last 5 as a P.E. teacher at the middle school level. Tommy earned his B.A. in English Education, and M.A. in School Counseling from Lindenwood University and continued his education in coaching, sports psychology, and nutrition.
Tommy has previously coached and won two state championships at the varsity level in MOIHA. He will be entering his 6th year of coaching in the Lindenwood Roller Hockey program, where he has won 2 national championships as a coach and 4 as a player.
Tommy has also won 2 world championships, representing the USA national inline team 5 times as a player. He has won multiple national championships in the Pro Tournament series in which he is still active.
Dr William "Bill" Dill
Athletic Trainer
Dr. Dill is a highly experienced athletic trainer (over 20 years experience) based in metro St. Louis, MO. As the owner of Myo-Fit Mobility & Therapy STL, Dr. Dill is dedicated to providing top-tier healthcare to physically active individuals, with a special focus on athletes and ice hockey players.

Lukus Duncan
Strength & Conditioning Coach
Growing up, Lukus played almost every sport possible. He believes that playing sports prepared him for life in a lot of ways. Patience, discipline, hard work, and perseverance are some of the many benefits of being an athlete. Today, Lukus uses all of these tools as a coach and trainer. He strives to help all of his student-athletes become prepared for the next level. He maintains focus on physical and mental grit when training athletes.
